ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM::brainbitz

Attendance Management System is android software developed for daily student attendance in schools, colleges and institutes. It facilitates to access the attendance information of a particular student in a particular class. The information is sorted by the operators, which will be provided by the staff for a particular class. This system will also help in evaluating attendance eligibility criteria of a student. By just a click on the mouse, the system will be able to produce the students' attendance report thus reducing the need for manual labor which is prone to human errors and time consuming.

Android-Call Manager

No matter how advanced your phone is, when you receive a call you have two options- answer or hang up. Andro-call manager handles your phone call just like you would, plus a helpful technology. You get more handling call options and can personalize your response to different calls. Andro-Call Manager manages calls according to your desire and location. The application can control the people, who can interrupt your sleep or any other activity defined by start and end times. In addition to muting calls, it can send an SMS and email with predefined text to advise callers that you are sleeping or busy. Another feature of Andro-call manager is auto answer. You can customize answering options. The feature allows answering the phone automatically, when it rings. Emergency call feature can activate before you might get into an emergency situation. For example, before walking alone through a tunnel.  Tool-to announce feature in Andro-call manager reminds about events.

EduPad — An akash tablet based educational system for improving adult literacy in rural India

The rate of Literacy is an important indicator of a society's overall human development. The population of India, as in most other developing countries is concentrated in the rural areas. However, the rural areas of India are often at a disadvantage within the Indian Education System. The absence of adequate school infrastructure like improper facilities and inefficient teaching staff is one of the main factors affecting literacy in India.
 An educational system called EduPad, to reduce the rural adult illiteracy using advancements in technology is proposed here. Such a system can be used to make up for lack of qualified personnel and adequate infrastructure in rural India.

 The device proposed here is an interactive Tablet, which is capable of teaching multiple languages. We propose to develop interactive educational software which can run on the tablet. The software helps the user to learn to write as well as spell the alphabets. Initially the software teaches alphabets and then moves onto words and sentences. Also display appropriate pictures for each word. Also pronounce like ‘A FOR APPLE’, if type ‘A’ on screen.

Personalized Intelligent Mobile Learning System for Supporting Effective English Learning

Since English has been an international language, how to enhance English levels of people by useful computer assisted learning forms or tools is a critical issue in non-English speaking countries because it definitely affects the overall competition ability of a country. With the rapid growth of wireless and mobile technologies, the mobile learning has been gradually considered as a novel and effective learning form because it inherits all the advantages of e-learning as well as breaks the limitations of learning time and space occurring in the traditional classroom learning. To provide an effective and flexible learning environment for English learning, this study adopts the advantages of the mobile learning to present a personalized intelligent mobile learning system (PIMS) which can appropriately recommend English news articles to learners based on the learners’ reading abilities evaluated by the proposed fuzzy Item Response Theory (FIRT). In addition, to promote the reading abilities of English news, the unknown or unfamiliar vocabularies of individual learner can also be automatically discovered and retrieved from the reading English news articles by the PIMS system according to the English vocabulary ability of individual learner for enhancing vocabulary learning. Currently, the PIMS system has been successfully implemented on the personal digital assistant (PDA) to provide personalized mobile learning for promoting the reading ability of English news. Experimental results indicated that the proposed system provides an efficient and effective mobile learning mechanism by adaptively recommending English news articles as well as enhancing unknown or unfamiliar vocabularies’ learning for individual learners.

          Fault Localization for Dynamic Web Applications

In recent years, there has been significant interest in fault-localization techniques that are based on statistical analysis of program constructs executed by passing and failing executions. This paper shows how the Tarantula, Ochiai, and Jaccard fault-localization algorithms can be enhanced to localize faults effectively in web applications written in PHP by using an extended domain for conditional and function-call statements and by using a source mapping. We also propose several novel test-generation strategies that are geared toward producing test suites that have maximal fault-localization effectiveness. We implemented various fault-localization techniques and test-generation strategies in Apollo, and evaluated them on several open-source PHP applications. Our results indicate that a variant of the Ochiai algorithm that includes all our enhancements localizes 87.8 percent of all faults to within 1 percent of all executed statements, compared to only 37.4 percent for the unenhanced Ochiai algorithm. We also found that all the test-generation strategies that we considered are capable of generating test suites with maximal fault-localization effectiveness when given an infinite time budget for test generation. However, on average, a directed strategy based on path-constraint similarity achieves this maximal effectiveness after generating only 6.5 tests, compared to 46.8 tests for an undirected test-generation strategy.

Image comparison-MOIDES::Android course with projects

The main aim of the Moides-project is the development of a framework which supports an easy integration of low- and high-level feature extraction algorithm for images and the use of MPEG 7 for describing the results in a standardized way. The figure shows all main components of the Moides architecture.
The realization of the architecture was performed in android     application reasoned by its good performance on almost all mobile devices. The system relies on a modular design which provides mechanism for extending the set of supported algorithms and connections dynamically. Strongly related to the processing (viewing, recording, etc.) of multimedia data is its enhancement with meta-data. Meta-data are descriptive data about multimedia content. These could be semantic information, as for instance which car appears in an image or information on color characteristics (e.g., the color histogram).
